Faux Koa on aluminum window frames

Problem:
Interior of this residence on 57th floor of New York skyscraper was completely finished in koa wood, including walls, doors and suspended ceilings
The building had fixed aluminum windows and frames, that could not be changed, altered or replaced with wooden frames.
Solution:
The aluminum casings of the windows were wood grained in faux koa wood to match the original material. Other wood grained parts included metal light fixtures, switch and outlet plates, speaker covers etc.
