Faux Marquetry

Problem:
Cabinets/wardrobes finished with straw marquetry and wenge wood were custom enlarged. New section with double door and side panel were added. The depth and height of the cabinets were increased. Finishing of the added parts with original materials was not an option.
Solution:
All added elements were custom wood grained in oil based techniques to imitate existing marquetry, and varnished
